VSS Monitoring V 4.12 C.C-F-AS - 10/100/1000 4x12 Port Aggregator

The 4x12 Port Aggregator provides simultaneous monitoring of up to four network links on twelve monitoring ports. Network ports include two SFP ports and two 10/100/1000 UTP RJ45 ports. The twelve monitor ports are also 10/100/1000 UTP RJ45 ports which combine traffic from all user-selected network inputs. Each monitoring port is independently controlled, allowing the user to forward any group of network ports to any of the monitor ports.

Two of the network ports are span-only, while the other two network ports can be configured to operate in either span (simple input) or inline (tap) mode, giving the user flexibility in deployments. Another configuration feature allows any of the network port links to be selected for aggregation enabling the user to choose dynamically which of the four ports to monitor.

This device enables local management via a serial RS-232 console port, as well as remote management via Telnet, HTTP/HTTPS, and SNMP. Extensive link information is available through each management interface. Ports may also be assigned symbolic text names for ease of use.

Dual power supplies allow seamless transitions between power systems and maximize uptime. All VSS managed devices support field firmware updates for additional features and performance enhancements.
