VSS Monitoring V 16.8 L.C-J-AF - Gigabit 16x8 Distributed Filter Tap

The V 16.8 Distributed Tap has sixteen Fiber LC ports and eight SFP ports. The LC ports are factory configured as either inline or SPAN. The ports of the Inline build are fixed at sixteen 100% passive network inputs ports and eight monitor output ports. All ports on the Fiber SPAN build are I/O configurable so that any port can be configured as a SPAN input port, monitor output port, or any combination therein. Each port on the tap is independently configurable so that any selection of network inputs can be forwarded to any selection of monitor outputs.

The tap enables local management via a serial console and remote management via Telnet, HTTP, HTTPS, and SNMP v3. Extensive link diagnostics are available through each user interface. Ports may also be assigned text names of up to 80 characters for ease of use.

Redundant power supplies allow seamless transitions between power systems and maximize uptime.
