VSS Monitoring V 16.8 C.C-F-AS - 10/100/1000 16x8 Distributed Tap
The V 16.8 Distributed Tap has sixteen 10/100/1000 UTP ports and eight SFP ports. All ports on the tap are I/O configurable so that the UTP ports can be configured as Inline or SPAN network input ports, monitor output ports, or any combination therein. The SFP ports can be configured as SPAN input ports, monitor output ports, or any combination therein. Each port on the tap is independently configurable so that any selection of network inputs can be forwarded to any selection of monitor outputs. The UTP ports are passive and feature VSS’ propriety vAssure™ technology, which provides the fastest fail-over times in the industry.
The tap enables local management via a serial console and remote management via Telnet, HTTP, HTTPS, and SNMP v3. Extensive link diagnostics are available through each user interface. Ports may also be assigned text names of up to 80 characters for ease of use.
Redundant power supplies allow seamless transitions between power systems and maximize uptime.
