The 12x4 Port Aggregator provides simultaneous monitoring of up to 12 10/100 inline networks on 4 monitoring ports. All network ports are completely passive, permitting seamless continuity of network traffic flow even in the event of a power failure to the unit.

Monitoring ports include 2 SFP ports and 2 10/100/1000 Aggregated TX ports which combine all user selected network inputs. Each monitoring port is independently controlled, allowing the user to forward any group of network ports to any monitoring server.

This device enables local management via a serial console and remote management via telnet, HTTP/HTTPS, and SNMP. Extensive link diagnostics are available through each user interface. Ports may also be assigned text names of up to 80 characters for ease of use. SNMP traps notify the user of configuration changes, user logins (successful and failed logins), logouts, link up/down, and power failures.

Redundant power supplies allow seamless transitions between power systems. All VSS managed devices support field firmware updates for additional features and performance enhancements.
