VSS Monitoring V 1.2 S.C-J-A - Gigabit 1x2 SX-TX Aggregation Tap
The Gigabit 1X2 Fiber to TX Aggregation Tap allows the fail-safe pass through of full duplex data over standard fiber cable (available in SX, LX, ZX). Decoding the optical signals this device re-clocks the data and electronically replicates the exact copy (including line errors) to two aggregated RJ45 monitoring ports.
A user is therefore able to monitor a full duplex gigabit fiber network with up to 2 gigabit copper device. Only one NIC card is required for monitoring both sides of the network, thereby further reducing the costs to monitor a high-speed fiber link and increasing the ROI on any copper based IDS or Analyzer.
Employing 64MB of memory, this Tap enables the user to monitor 100% of the duplex link, and guarantees the preservation of packet order during aggregation.
