VSS Monitoring V 1.2 C.C-F-C - 10/100/1000 1x2 Combination Tap
The 1x2 Combination Tap allows the fail-safe pass through of duplex data over standard UTP Cat 5 cable. The combination feature enables the user to monitor network traffic with both non-aggregating monitoring ports and an aggregating monitoring port. The non-aggregating feature enables a user to monitor 100% of the network traffic even in the event of maximum utilization on the network ports. The aggregation port enables monitoring on a single transmit-only port, thereby reducing the number of NICs required on any analyzer.
VSS monitoring’s ‘Link Safe’ feature enables link failures to be observed by network elements both sides of the Tap thereby enabling routers and switches to execute redundancy whenever failures occur.
Port speed is 10/100/100 on Network ports and 1000Mbps on Monitor ports.
