VSS Monitoring V 1.8 L.L-H - OC-3 1x8 LX Fiber Tap
The OC48 1X8 fiber Tap allows the uninterrupted pass through of full duplex data over singlemode fiber cable. Decoding the optical signals this device electronically replicates multiple exact copies of the network signals including line errors to sixteen transmit-only multimode monitoring ports. A user is then able to monitor a full duplex singlemode network with up to 8 singlemode devices thus enabling multiple forms of network analysis and security detection on any one link at one time.
In addition the OC48 1X8 Tap is available with optional data reclocking so as to maximize the signal quality and power throughput. Multiple LEDs indicate power and link status for easy troubleshooting with connected equipment.
