Network Critical Modular Fiber Breakout TAP
By: Network Critical Modular Fiber Breakout TAP
Network Critical’s modular Breakout TAPs offer a permanent solution for gaining access to your network, while providing the flexibility for easy changes to your data center.
Product Details
Modular Breakout TAPs provide a safe and simple way to access live network traffic. In a full-duplex network link they safely copy the live traffic, separate it into RX and TX streams, and provide you with two monitoring ports, one for each direction of traffic. This ensures a full and complete copy of the traffic without risk of packet loss.
Our Modular Breakout TAPs are part of a flexible system that allows you to TAP any type of network infrastructure. The chassis and module platform provides interchangeable modules to be used with our SmartNA chassis. The modules are hot-swappable, allowing easy changes to the network at any time. The chassis also provides the option of remote management, adding to the security of the unit.
The integrity of your live network is paramount. That’s why our TAPs feature fail-safe technologies to preserve the flow of live traffic. Permanent LinkLock is available in 10/100 Copper mode and all Fiber Optic TAPs in our Breakout range. LinkLock ensures that the live network link will never fail, even if the tap suffers a power outage.
Modular Breakout TAPs are available in a full range of network media and densities to suit any deployment requirements. From portable units for strategic deployment into a single network to high density units for infrastructure deployment in the wiring cabinet, Network Critical has a solution that will fit seamlessly into your data center.
