Netoptics 10 GigaBit LX4 to XFP Converter Tap P/N: CVT-50XP-XFP, CVT-62XP-XFP, CVT-8XP-XFP
By: Netoptics 10 GigaBit LX4 to XFP Converter Tap P/N: CVT-50XP-XFP, CVT-62XP-XFP, CVT-8XP-XFP
Net Optics LX4 Converter Tap delivers the ability to connect the newest SR and LR based 10 Gigabit tools to existing 10Gbase-LX4 links. Up to this point, customers had no real way of seeing the traffic on their LX4 networks. Convert LX4 to XFP and tap into the link with one easy to use device, reducing cost and complexity at the same time.
Connectivity
The LX4 Converter supports XENPAK LC 10Gbase-LX4 network connections at 8.5, 50 and 62.5 micron with 50/50 split ratios. Connectors adhere to MSA and 10Gbps Ethernet IEEE802.3ae compliance for system level interoperability.
Monitor Port Flexibility
The XFP based Monitor Ports provide the flexibility to use any available monitoring tool that contains LC type interface connectors. Multimode SR and singlemode LR transceivers are supported. The base chassis requires the additional purchase of two XFP conversion kits.
