SS-2210LX-SFP

The SINGLEstream™ SS-2210LX-SFP Configurable Dual Link Aggregation Tap enables any connected monitoring devices to simultaneously monitor two tapped full duplex LX links, using only one NIC per device.

Unlike traditional network taps, this passive tap will tap two network links and will combine both sides of each full duplex data stream, handing off the data to up to six (6) tools with single NICs. Aggregation allows monitoring systems with single channel NICs to view entire full-duplex transmissions.

An easy to use CLI provides access to dozens of features and settings, including port speed, port steering, and VLAN tag stripping.

  • 24x7 access point for network monitoring and security tools
  • Manage tap via networked management port or local serial port
  • Passive tap connection ensures network uptime and security – won’t break the network link even if power is lost to the tap
  • “Any-to-Any” architecture on six (6) ports allows you to steer traffic as desired – configure any of your SFP ports to collect data from a SPAN port and send data to any of the other monitor ports
  • Dual redundant, load balanced power supplies
  • In-Line design eliminates contention for network access by freeing up SPAN/Mirror ports
  • Standard split ratio 50/50; others available upon request
  • SFP connectors for the monitoring ports (“Any-to-Any” ports) are available in SX, LX, and RJ45, which will allow you to connect copper or fiber tools
