The 10/100 Regeneration Tap provides easy 24 x 7 access to your 10/100 Ethernet segments. Two monitoring devices can access the same segment at a single point, eliminating contention for network links. Fault tolerant design will ensure that network performance and integrity will not be affected by power loss.
- Multiple access points solves link contention issues
- Connect two devices (IDS, RMON Probes and Analyzers) to the same link
- Redundant power supply insures seamless monitoring even if the main power source is unavailable
- Never lose packets from power failure - industry-leading "no break the link" design guarantees network traffic will continue to flow uninterrupted
- Permanent In-Line access to Ethernet links - eliminates the need for network connectors to be disconnected and connected each time a segment needs to be analyzed
- Ideal for Security and Monitoring applications
- View ALL seven layers of network traffic
- View ALL traffic on both sides of full duplex links
- Passes all pairs
- Supports Power over Ethernet (PoE)
