The 10/100-PTx4 Four-Unit Passive Tap provides simple 24 x 7 passive access to your 10/100 Ethernet segments and is an ideal solution for full-time monitoring applications.
These passive taps from Datacom Systems feature industry-leading, "no break the link" design, so network traffic will continue to flow uninterrupted even if power is lost to the tap.
Includes redundant power supply to guarantee monitoring uptime.
- Permanent In-Line access to Ethernet links - eliminates the need for network connectors to be disconnected and connected each time a segment needs to be analyzed
- Won't break the network link even if power is lost to the tap, eliminating packet loss and network delays
- Enables viewing of ALL seven layers of network traffic and passes all pairs
- Space-saving design - Four (4) 10/100BaseT passive taps in an easy to install 1U chassis (fits a standard 19" rack)
- Ideal for Security and Monitoring applications - non-intrusive and invisible to the network
- Monitor both sides of a full-duplex conversation
- Supports Power over Ethernet (PoE)
- Redundant internal power supplies insure seamless monitoring even if the main power source is unavailable
